Listen to Kid King on KCountry 102.3 Monday through Friday!  KK has been with Brookings Radio since 2004, but didn't start "on-air" until Valentine's Day 2005 for the overnight KCountry show.

Keith "Kid" King is a high school graduate of Deuel High School in Clear Lake, South Dakota. He grew up on a farm just a few miles outside of town. After high school he attended Southeast Technical Institute and graduated as a Computer Support Specialist. So, how did he get into radio?  Well, for 10 years he worked for a mobile DJ service where he would DJ for a variety of events. Through a network of people and activities, Kid King found Brookings Radio. He started by running the "board" during sporting events that were being broadcasted, then moved to the overnight KCountry radio show, he then took over the evening show on KCountry, and now he is an Account Manager with Brookings Radio during the day along with his "Royal Country" show in the evenings!

Keith's family consists of his wife, Candice, and four children:  Austen, Natashia, Isabelle and Tysen. In his spare time Keith enjoys playing with his kids, doing some home improvement projects, and working on the computer creating and maintaining websites.
